Eating!

Us eating the traditional sate (sort of like beef/chicken kebabs with yummy peanut sauce). This particular restaurant pictured here is famous for making some of the best sate around. Our neighbors took us there late one evening.

Daniela enjoying a delicious Carl's Jr. (Hardee's) burger. This one had guacamole on it as you can see on her face :) We were very excited when we found out that one of these places opened up at a local mall. Good guacamole is hard to find! The funny thing is that we thought Carl's Jr. was an Asian version of Hardee's, come to find out - it's the California version of Hardee's! Guess it originated there (hahah).

This is the Hard Rock near downtown. We finally were able to go for the first time with some friends that had come into town from a neighboring country. We had a great time and the food was pretty good.

We forgot this picture earlier - actually this was quite an embarrassing moment for Daniela. She didn't realize how tall this "roti" would be when she ordered it. Everyone around us turned to look. It was tasty, though, this bread is thin and crispy (filled with sweet buttery corn).

Ew, Daniela! I didn't think it was possible, but I am even more disgusted by guacamole after seeing that picture.
