This was the group from the orphanage that Daniela spent the week with. Most of the kids had some kind of a handicap, but they were great and a lot of fun! We enjoyed our time out there with them. During the day we spent the time playing, singing, dancing, doing crafts, and even learning to paint batik!

This picture was taken on one of the islands we went to, it was
beautiful there. Crystal clear waters and lots of interesting, colorful fish. It reminded us of Hawaii, but with cheaper food :)

Here is Justin with the village kids. He spent 3 days out with some other students in remote areas. They had a great time hanging out and the kids loved having them around. Of course, this included some Frisbee action!

Here is a view from the top of a mountain. On the coastline you can see a local fishing village. Most of the houses are on stilts over the ocean. The people were very friendly and the kids took us to a beautiful beach located just on the other side of the mountain. While their main food consists of fish, they also grow a few vegetables on the hillside as you can see in the fenced in area.

Here is a better view of some of the houses from the village above. This is a true beach house!
