Trip to Singapore!

We've only posted a few pictures here from our trip, but we have updated our shutterfly with the rest of the pics. We decided to take a cable car ride to Sentosa Island which sits right below Singapore. This is a view of the island as we were heading down.

VERY beautiful. It was nice being able to see a "real" beach for once, especially one like this. The water was so clear and the island was nicely arranged. It reminded us of the Caribbean. This is the bridge that connects to an even smaller island which is the "Southernmost Point of the Continent Asia".

Justin couldn't resist posing with his slurpee in front of the sign before we headed over the bridge :)

Daniela decided to climb out on the rocks to get a better view of the ocean. Just as the picture was being taken, she was reprimanded by a lifeguard! "He was worried due to the tide coming in, lol".

Another nice view of the island, we walked from one side to the other, not realizing that we were getting sunburned. That's what happens when you are away from Florida too long!

The famous Merlion (see the shutterfly account for a sign with the description). This is in the Singapore City Center. This statue is very well known and a popular tourist spot. Singapore is known for being so clean and we were quite impressed. Even their street cats looked well fed, hahah!

We walked a LONG way to get to this fountain (the largest in the world - well, according to the sign)! We had remembered seeing it on our bus ride over, but weren't exactly sure where. By the time we FINALLY got there, it wasn't even turned on! Justin was VERY disappointed as you can tell by his facial expression.

"It's a MerLion...it's pretty much my favorite animal. It's bred for its skills in magic."

Wow, these pictures remind me so much of Russia; especially the nice clean water. Sike!!

I can't believe you guys can get Slurpees on the other side of the world and we can't get them here in South Carolina! There is something very wrong here...

We miss you both!!
